Come explore the lesser known, yet beautiful landscape in the North Fork, an area threatened by oil and gas development. Alli Melton of Public Lands Director High Country Conservation Advocates will join us to explain the current issues and answer questions.
We will meet at the 4-Way parking lot at 7:30 am in Crested Butte and carpool from there to the trailhead. Expect about two hours of driving. Be prepared for a full day of hiking. Don't forget to pack a lunch, bring plenty of water, wear comfortable shoes and clothing, and put on sunscreen!
For questions and more information please contact Hilary Henry at firstname.lastname@example.org. This hike is free, but limited to 12 participants.
*Though originally posted as July 12, the date of the hike has been changed to July 19.
